On May 12, a “Governor and Youth” meeting took place in the large assembly hall of Bukhara State University. The event was attended by Bukhara District Governor Anvarjon Zubaydulloyevich Ochilov, district officials, leaders of employer organizations and enterprises, the university leadership led by Bukhara State University Rector Obidjon Xamidov, faculty, staff, and student youth.
The meeting featured an active and lively Q&A session. For example, Mironshokh, a first-year student at Bukhara State University currently working at the “Sharq” hotel, asked about the support available for young people interested in opening their own guesthouses. Officials responsible for tourism in the district provided detailed explanations of the opportunities offered.
Additionally, Dilshod Ochilov, a representative from Milliy Bank, shared information about preferential credit packages allocated for students.
It was agreed that university professors and students would visit and assess the conditions of operating and emerging enterprises in Bukhara district. This would also provide opportunities for students to get acquainted with potential workplaces for future employment.
Furthermore, a weekly reception by the district governor for Bukhara State University students is scheduled to be held every Saturday at the district governor’s office.
