On May 8, a meeting was organized between the Vobkent district governor, Akmal Anvarovich Ostonov, and student youth from Vobkent. The event was attended by heads of employer organizations and enterprises, university administration, professors, teachers, and students.
The meeting was opened with an introductory speech by Bukhara State University’s vice rector for Academic Affairs, R.G. Jumayev. In his speech, he emphasized that meetings between governors and youth are being held according to a scheduled plan in every district and that these gatherings are an effective method for the economic and social development of the district.
During the meeting, the Vobkent district governor spoke about the ongoing reforms in the country, highlighting progress using Vobkent as an example. He also wished the youth success in mastering modern knowledge. A lively question-and-answer session followed, where the gathered specialists under the leadership of the governor thoroughly examined each appeal and found appropriate solutions.
At the end of the meeting, the youth who asked the best questions were awarded memorable gifts.
