Today, Bukhara State University had the honor of welcoming a delegation from Kirikkale University, Türkiye, led by Rector Professor Ersin Aslan.
The visit began with an insightful presentation by Professor Ersin Aslan for the university’s gifted students. His lecture focused on the historical development of science through the ages and the modern application of scientific achievements in today’s economy.
Following the presentation, the delegation was received by Rector of BukhSU, Professor Obidjon Khamidov. During the meeting, the two sides discussed priority areas of cooperation and proceeded to sign a bilateral cooperation agreement.
It is worth noting that Kirikkale University is one of the ten pilot institutions selected for the newly launched Türkiye International Exchange Scholarship (TIES) program. As part of this initiative, a scholarship has been awarded to a student from the Department of Chemistry at BukhSU, who is expected to study at Kirikkale University for one semester in the upcoming academic year.
