In connection with the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, scheduled to be held in Samarkand in 2025, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the Sultanate of Oman, Abdusalom Khatamov, and the Rector of Bukhara State University, Obidjon Khamidov, held a meeting with the authorities of Nizwa City in Oman.
During the meeting, the discussion focused on establishing and expanding cooperation between Bukhara and Nizwa cities, as well as fostering collaboration between Bukhara State University and Nizwa University. They also discussed joint activities related to economic, social, tourism, and healthcare issues between the two cities.
