An international scientific-practical conference titled "Prospective Directions for Achieving Sustainable Development Goals and Promoting Green Economy in Uzbekistan" was held at the Small Conference Hall of Bukhara State University in collaboration with several partner organizations.
During the event, “Hero of Uzbekistan”, Muhammad Akhmedov, shared insights on "Sustainable Development of Farming Enterprises in the Context of a Green Economy."
Jamol Nosirov, Head of the Bukhara Regional Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change, addressed "Urgent Environmental Issues Amid Climate Change: Analysis and Solutions."
Prof. Bakhtiyar Rozmetov from Urganch State University and Head of the UN Sustainable Development Center's Khorezm Division delivered a presentation on "Key Directions for Comprehensive Regional Development Based on Sustainable Development Goals."
Other speakers included:
Prof. Bakhtiyor Navroz-zoda (BukhSU, Department of Management and Marketing), with a presentation titled "Model of a Green Economy: Development Stages and Organic Structure."
Tolib Muhammadov, Chief Specialist at the Bukhara Regional Department of Economy and Finance, who spoke on "Regional Strategy for Poverty Reduction Based on Green Economy: A Case Study of Bukhara Region."
Assoc. Prof. Mahmud Oripov (Green Economy Department), who discussed "Strategic Directions for Developing the Green Economy in Bukhara Region."
Dr. Dilshod Durdiev, professor at the Technical University of Darmstadt (Germany), presented on "Transition to Lead-Free Ferroelectrics: Eco-Friendly Materials for Green Technologies."

Ikrom Ikromov, Deputy Director of “BukharaAgroCluster” LLC, delivered a talk on "Sustainable Development Strategies at BukharaAgroCluster."
Beshim Hamroyev, Executive Director of the “Bukhara Varnet” Joint Venture, presented on "Implementation of Green Technologies at Bukhara Varnet: Opportunities, Challenges, and Prospects."
