The mayor of the Bukhara Region, Botir Komilovich Zaripov, visited Bukhara State University to get acquainted with the university's activities and the conditions created for students and faculty. He reviewed the educational programs of the Faculty of Economics and Tourism and analyzed the teaching processes.
In particular, the mayor was introduced to the classes held under the joint bachelor's degree program in International Hotel Management, a collaboration between BuxDU and France’s prestigious Vatel School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, and spoke with students directly.
Furthermore, issues related to the development of tourism and the region's socio-economic progress were discussed. The mayor gave specific instructions regarding the further enhancement of the university's performance and contribution to regional development.
As part of the visit, the "Career Day – 2025" Job Fair organized at the university was also observed.
