On April 9, in honor of the 689th anniversary of Amir Temur’s birth, the Faculty of History and Law at Bukhara State University organized a spiritual and educational event titled “Amir Temur—A Great Symbol of Our Glory”. The event took place in the main hall of the Bukhara Academic Lyceum under the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The event was opened with an introductory speech by Associate Professor F. Temirov, Head of the Department of Archaeology and History of Bukhara. He emphasized Amir Temur’s significant role in the history of Uzbek statehood, noting that the Second Renaissance began during the Timurid era, laying the foundation for today’s Third Renaissance in New Uzbekistan. Professor Sh. H. Vokhidov of the same department shared valuable insights about genealogy and lineages found in works dedicated to Amir Temur.
Additionally, performances and presentations prepared by students from the Faculty of History and Law drew great interest from the audience. The lyceum's teachers and students also contributed by sharing informative content related to the topic.
