Today, November 14, a festive event was held in the large assembly hall of Bukhara State University on the occasion of International Sociologists' Day.
First, Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology, Associate Professor Azizbek Amonov took the floor to congratulate and read out the holiday greetings of the rector of Bukhara State University O.Kh. Khamidov to the university's professors, teachers and students on the occasion of International Sociologists' Day.
Also, Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology, Associate Professor Aziza Kayumova sincerely congratulated the teachers and students on today's holiday. Professor of the University's Department of Philosophy Hakima Salimova spoke.
During the event, holiday greetings from sociologists of Uzbekistan were heard. In particular, a video clip with a holiday greeting from the Head of the Department of Social Management and Psychology of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Sociology, Professor Bekmurodov Mansur Bobomurodovich was presented to the audience.
Students of the sociology department described the name of Auguste Comte, the founder of sociology, and introduced the scientific research of scientists who contributed to the development of the field.
A video clip with a sociological questionnaire prepared by students of Bukhara State University was shown.
During the event, the drama "Padarkush" by Behbudiy, one of the nationalist newcomers, and a stage performance about the thinker poet Alisher Navoi were shown. The audience was especially pleased with the songs and dances reflecting the cultures of different nations.
