It is known that starting from this academic year, the US Webster University MA TESOL (Teaching a Foreign Language as a Second Language) master's degree program has started its activities at Bukhara State University. Currently, twenty master's students are studying in this specialty. Classes organized on the basis of this program are conducted by a number of experienced professors and teachers of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Webster specialists.
On September 19, Oybek Imomov, Head of the MA TESOL Department of Webster University, and Tristan Hicks, TESOL Program Coordinator, visited the university. During the visit, the guests spoke with graduate students and their faculty to learn about their experiences with the program. In addition, the guests met with university officials to discuss future plans. During the visit, the graduate students were presented with special gifts from Webster University.
