A solemn ceremony dedicated to the beginning of the 2024-2025 academic year was held at Bukhara State University under the motto "If we are united - our one people, if we unite - our homeland!" on the day the university was founded. The event began with the playing of the National Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The event was opened by the rector of the university, Obidjon Khamidov.
The event was attended by the university's leadership, professors, teachers, employees, young people recommended for studentship and their parents. At the event, Bukhara State University professor Sulaymon Inoyatov, Siddiq Qahhorov, member of the Senate, regional representative of the Human Rights Ombudsman of the Oliy Majlis for Bukhara Abira Khusenova, expressed their wishes to the students.
Speaking at the ceremony, Obidjon Khamidov expressed his wishes for a successful new academic year for all students and teachers. The university's achievements and future plans were discussed, and the importance of reforms in further improving scientific potential and providing modern education to students was emphasized.
In his speech, Honorary Professor of Buxtehu State University, Professor Sulaymon Inoyatov, speaking about the role and importance of the university in the development of the education system, expressed his confidence in the university in educating the future generation.
Also, at the end of the event, letters of thanks were presented to students and their parents who received high scores and were recommended for admission to the university.
