Yesterday, a roundtable discussion was held in collaboration with Bukhara State University, Bukhara Regional Prosecutor's Office, and Bukhara Regional Forestry Department on the care, propagation, and control of plants resistant to salinity and hot climates in Bukhara region. The roundtable discussion was attended by Bukhara Regional Deputy Prosecutor Akhmedov Jamshid, Bukhara Regional Prosecutor's Office Department Head Farhod Salayiddinov, Bukhara Regional Forestry Department Head Rustam Hojiyev, Bukhara State University Rector O.Kh. Khamidov, and a group of professors and teachers of the Faculty of Agronomy and Biotechnology of Bukhara State University.
During the roundtable discussion, a long-term memorandum was signed with the Bukhara Regional Forestry Department. Accordingly, in-depth discussions were held on the implementation of a number of works based on scientific conclusions and foundations in the implementation of planting and caring for ornamental trees around highways of international importance in Bukhara region, zoning of plants, adaptation to the climate of the region. They exchanged views on the work to be carried out in the future. During the meeting, the forestry enterprises of Vobkent and Gijduvon districts were visited.
A group of officials from Bukhara State University, Bukhara Regional Prosecutor's Office, Bukhara Regional Forestry Department, Bukhara City Greening Department, Bukhara Regional Ecology and Environmental Protection Departments will leave for Samarkand city and Samarkand districts to study plants in order to exchange experiences.
