On June 8, 2024, a delegation from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Switzerland) visited Bukhara State University. The delegation includes the Head of the Center for Tourism Competence, professor. Urs Wagenseiland researcher Bettina Mandel from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts held a meeting with the rector of BukhSU O. Khamidov and the vice-rector for international cooperation A. Juraev.
During the visit, a meeting was also organized with the teaching staff of the Faculty of Economics and Tourism. The meeting was opened by the head of the international department of Bukhara State University M. Kilichev and gave information about the projects carried out at the faculty in hospitality, hotel management and tourism. During the meetings, further cooperation between universities on the exchange of students and teachers was discussed.
