On May 17, 2023, according to the letter of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation No. 2/12-4/4-1054, the rector of Bukhara State University Obidjon Khamidov was on a business trip to Kazan, Russian Federation and held a lecture with students of Kazan Federal University.
Cooperation between Kazan Federal University and Bukhara State University is developing and strengthening more and more.
After a meeting with the leadership of Kazan Federal University, an action plan was developed to further expand cooperation relations. The rector of the university, Obidjon Khamidov, gave a lecture on the topic “Tourist potential of Uzbekistan and ways of its effective development” as part of the subject of International tourism for students of the Faculty of Tourism Education of the Institute of Management, Economics and Finance of Kazan Federal University. The lecture was attended by the leadership of the university, professors and teachers, 40 young students. In his speech, the rector gave information about the reforms being implemented in the field of higher education in Uzbekistan, new student campuses under construction, the state of attracting foreign technologies to improve students' knowledge and improve the quality of education. On the basis of a cooperation agreement signed between Kazan Federal University and Bukhara State University, annually 20 professors and teachers undergo scientific training.
