29.01.2024

A brief history of the Department of Chemistry in 1992, after the establishment of Bukhara State University on the basis of BukhDPI, in accordance with the rector's order No. 150-O dated August 9 of this year, the "General Chemistry" and "Organic and Physcolloid Chemistry" departments were established on the basis of the chemistry department.
History of "General Chemistry" department
The Department of "General Chemistry" was established in August 1992. The department teaches 13 chemical sciences: inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, YUMB chemistry, substance structure, chemical technology, quantum mechanics and chemistry, problem solving methodology, mathematical modeling of the structure and properties of chemical compounds, chemical technology processes and equipment. .In 1992-1996, the department was headed by Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor O.M. Yoriev, in 1996-2000, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor B.A. Mavlonov, since September 2000, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor H.N. Mavlyanov, since 2010, S.I. Nazarov has been the head of the department. In 1996, the department had 02.00.06 - post-graduate course in the chemistry of high molecular compounds, in 2000 - doctoral course, in 2001 - 5A440401 - master's degree in inorganic chemistry. 2 textbooks and 40 teaching-methodical manuals, more than 600 scientific articles and lecture abstracts of professors-teachers of the department were published in the prestigious journals of the Republic and foreign countries, in the Republic and International scientific conferences. An agreement was concluded between the Department and the Institutes of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and many higher educational institutions of our republic, as well as higher educational institutions and research centers of foreign countries, and scientific relations were established on the basis of this agreement. Graduate student of the department G.A. Ikhtiyarova received a grant from the "Talent" fund of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the 2002-2003 academic year in the field of "Chemical technologies" for 1 month of 2003. Master's student of the department M.S. Sharipov studied information technology and information technologies at Shanghai University of the People's Republic of China from October 8 to November 5, 2004 with a grant from the "Talent" fund of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the 2003-2004 academic year in the field of "Biotechnology and chemical technologies". He returned after upgrading his qualifications in the field of engineering. The years 2001-2005 were five years full of achievements for the department. In 2001, the textbook "Physics and Chemistry of Polymers" by M.A. Askarov, O.M. Yoriev, and N.N. Yodgorov won the second place in the competition held by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education. In 2002, the professor of the department, doctor of chemical sciences O. M. Yoriev was awarded with the 2nd degree diploma in the "Best Scientific Leader of the Year" contest of the "Ustoz" Republican Foundation. In 2001-2002, M.S. Sharipov, in 2003, 2004 M.B. Rakhimova became Beruniy and Ulug'bek state scholarship holders. In 2002, post-graduate student G.A. Ikhtiyarova, and in 2003, graduate student M.S. Sharipov became the President's scholarship. Talented students of the department have been successfully participating in Olympiads. In 2001, 2002, M.S. Sharipov, in 2003-2004 M.B. Rakhimova took the 1st place in the second stage of the Republican Olympiad in chemistry. 7 million in 2002. 200,000 soums, 12 million soums in 2003. 30 million soums in 2007. State grant of soums was received. In August 2005, graduate student M.S. Sharipov received the State Award "Fame" medal. In September 2005, M.S. Sharipov, a graduate student of the department, won the "Energy, resources, industry" competition of graduate students dedicated to the 14th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In 2014, the "Chemistry" department was established on the basis of the "General chemistry" and "Organic and physicolloid chemistry" departments in accordance with the order of BukhDU 256-U. In 2014-2015, the department was headed by Ph.D. associate professor G.A. Ikhtiyarova, professor M.R. Amonov led. From January 4, 2019 to September 2020, the department was headed by Ph.D., associate professor Avezov Hasan Tillayevich. Pursuant to the order of the rector of BuxDU dated October 10, 2020 No. 874, the Department of Chemistry was divided into "Organic and Physcolloid Chemistry" and "General and Inorganic Chemistry" departments. 5140500 - Chemistry education (4th stage), 60530100-Chemistry (by types) 3rd-2nd stage, 60710100-Chemical technology (by types of production) 2nd stage, 70530100 - Chemistry (by scientific disciplines) 2nd stage master's degree (10 people) 70530101 - Chemistry (by science) 1st stage master's degree (4 people) accepted. chemistry education (16 groups).
