Effective use of the university’s scientific potential in identifying solutions to scientific, practical and scientific-technical problems of developing the economy of the Republic;
Organization of scientific work and ensuring its completion within the established deadlines;
Development of the directions of the university’s scientific activity and achieving effective results;
Carrying out control over the implementation of annual roadmaps of departments on scientific research, innovations and training of scientific and pedagogical personnel;
Planning, organizing and coordinating the holding of scientific and scientific-practical conferences. Ensuring the participation of professors, teachers and staff in conferences held at other higher education institutions;
Expanding the activities of scientific schools at the university and attracting young scientists and talented students to them;
Implementing measures on the use of international scientific-technical databases, preparation and publication of articles in international scientific journals, and increasing their citation rates;
Managing the process of preparing winners of the State Scholarship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and named state scholarships;
Increasing the effectiveness of the Scientific Councils awarding academic degrees at the university;
Ensuring the active participation of professors and teachers in competitions of fundamental, applied, innovation and Startup projects, as well as increasing the effectiveness of research work in creating new equipment and technologies;
Introducing the results of scientific research into the educational process and industrial enterprises;
Strengthening the material and technical base for research work;
Creating competitive scientific developments and technologies based on the development of scientific-technical cooperation;
Increasing the effectiveness of training scientific and pedagogical personnel and research work in cooperation with research institutions of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
Organizing student scientific work; attracting talented youth and excellent students to scientific work, organizing exhibitions and olympiads of student scientific works at the university, regional and republican levels and ensuring their participation;
Organizing the inclusion of doctoral dissertation topics of doctoral students, base doctoral students, independent researchers and scientific staff into the database of topics of the Higher Attestation Commission;
Conducting seminar-trainings to create opportunities for access of university professors, teachers, doctoral students and students to the international scientific-technical databases Scopus and Science Direct;
Ensuring the publication of scientific works of professors, teachers, doctoral students and students of the university in scientific journals with high impact factor and increasing citation rates;
Ensuring the participation of doctoral students in the competition for the State Scholarship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and achieving effectiveness;
Carrying out control over the scientific and innovative activities of university faculties, departments and scientific centers;
Carrying out control over the compliance of doctoral students and independent researchers with the University Charter and internal regulations;
Checking the scientific data entered into the Uniwork electronic platform by university professors and teachers;
Preparing the annual report on the university’s scientific work and submitting it to the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
