Boltaev Muhammad Nazarovich
(J928. 1.10, Bukhara) - philosopher-scientist. Honored Scientist of Uzbekistan (1978), Doctor of Philosophy (1966), Professor (1968). Graduated from Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute (1950). He taught philosophy at universities in Dushanbe and Tashkent. Rector of Karshi State Pedagogical Institute (1977-86), Head of the Department of Philosophy, Bukhara State University (since 1986). His scientific work is devoted to the contribution of Central Asian thinkers to the development of philosophical thought, the philosophers' ideas about the meaning of human life, and universal spiritual and moral values. Awarded the Medal of Fame (1994).
