The purpose of the sector is to identify talented students studying at the university and involve them in scientific-research activities, to develop innovative thinking in them, as well as to implement комплекс measures aimed at creating conditions for talented students to engage in scientific-research activities and to support and encourage their achievements in this direction
Tasks of the Sector for Organizing Students’ Scientific Research Activities:
organizing the selection, search and identification of talented students by faculties
regularly determining the intellectual potential of talented students through Raven tests
organizing targeted training of talented students according to their aptitudes
assigning talented students within the Mentor–Apprentice system to leading Doctors of Science professors, Candidates of Science and experienced teachers
organizing training sessions for mastering foreign languages and computer skills at a high level
involving them in fundamental, applied and innovative research works, scientific кружки under departments and various competitions
assisting talented students in publishing scientific articles, as well as in implementing their scientific works and developments into practice
organizing the publication of articles in internationally recognized scientific and foreign journals
ensuring the participation of talented students in scientific conferences held at the republican and international levels and organizing their study and internships abroad
ensuring participation in the annual Republican Student Science Olympiads held at the university
specially preparing candidates from among talented students for State scholarships of the Republic of Uzbekistan
organizing meetings of talented students with representatives of science, heads of production enterprises and leading specialists
organizing professional simulation games according to specialization for talented students
regularly conducting sociological research among talented students
creating conditions for the use of modern information systems
monitoring the activities of talented students at the end of the academic year, hearing their reports and assigning new tasks
