Specialists of the Department of Combating Crimes in the Field of Information Technologies of the IIB of Bukhara region organized another preventive event aimed at increasing the culture of digital security for students at Bukhara State University.
During the meeting, students were introduced to practical recommendations on how to identify risks in the online space, protect personal data and use the Internet responsibly. The participants were explained in detail about the new forms of fraud in social networks, false advertising and contests, methods of obtaining user data through malicious links.
Experts also gave practical advice on how to properly configure security settings on mobile devices, create strong passwords, the consequences of installing unknown software and the importance of following daily information security rules.
At the end of the event, students received answers to their questions and were armed with useful recommendations on how to be aware of cyber threats in advance.
