On November 20, 2025, at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Agro-Biotechnology of Bukhara State University, a promotional event aimed at improving the culture of digital literacy and cyber security was organized with the participation of professors, teachers, workers and students. Employees of the Department of Digital Education Technologies took part in the event.
During the event, department head M.Z. Khusenov gave detailed information about the processes of introducing digital educational technologies at the university, ongoing work, new platforms and current news in the field. He also gave explanations about the content of the regulatory documents on the use of digital systems, including the "Cyber Security" law that entered into force on July 17, 2022, and its role in information security.
R.N. Salimov gave a detailed report on information security, cyber threats, the importance of the human factor, bank card protection, rules for safe use of the Internet and social networks. Also, “1xBet”, “Mostbet”, “Linebet” Warnings were given regarding the negative impact of such risk-based games on the human mind.
During the event, videos were shown and an open dialogue was organized on issues such as widespread forms of cybercrimes, their consequences, protection from suspicious links and files, the impact of overindulgence in computer games on the educational process.
Through this campaign, it is aimed to increase the digital literacy of students and employees, to encourage them to be responsible in the information space, as well as to create a culture of cyber security.
