At Bukhara State University, within the “Cyber culture development month”, the next preventive event was held on “Be aware of cybercrime”.
This event was organized with the participation of students of Physics-Mathematics and Information Technologies Faculty 1-1PMK-24. At the event, special attention was paid to the issues of proper use of Internet networks, protection of personal data, awareness of online frauds and observance of cyber hygiene rules among young people.
During the event, an expert explained about common types of cybercrimes, ways to prevent them, as well as the importance of being careful in the digital world.
Students were given important recommendations such as not to open unknown links, not to download foreign files, not to give personal information to third parties.
The main purpose of the event — consisted of warning young people about cyber risks, improving digital culture and raising awareness against cybercrimes.
