1. Bukhara State University Department of Digital Education Technologies (RTTD) informs of the following based on the letter of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation dated December 10, 2024 No. 02/22 4/1-10583.
- “Cyber Security Center” “.exe” which has a negative impact on the provision of information and cyber security of information objects in social networks and messengers during the monitoring work carried out by the state unitary enterprise within its powers. it has been found that a program that performs harmful actions in the extension is spreading.
- Damage to the information object with a malicious file can lead to large-scale leakage of trade secrets, confidential information, personal data of employees and other types of information in the organization's information communication infrastructure, as well as other negative situations.
2. University employees, professors and teachers are advised to immediately notify the responsible staff of the Department of Digital Education Technologies in the event that they are affected by a malicious file or come to them through any source, and the following are recommended as primary elimination and damage reduction measures:
- not to launch and distribute the program;
- Separation of the damaged information object from the general information and communication infrastructure;
- installation of protection tools, including anti-virus software, in the information and communication infrastructure and its information objects, as well as ensuring the up-to-dateness of the version and signature database of the protection tools.
