The student admission process at the university is based on state admission quotas established by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the results of national entrance examinations, and transparent and fair procedures.
Admission to undergraduate (Bachelor’s) programs is conducted through entrance examinations organized by the State Testing Center (STC). Admission to Master’s programs is carried out through a three-stage assessment system, which includes a written examination in the field of specialization, a foreign language test, and a final interview.
The documents and criteria required for admission to academic programs include: a diploma from the previous level of education, proof of language proficiency (if the program is delivered in English, a relevant certificate is required), and, where applicable, portfolios or creative examinations.
The admission policy is fully transparent, and all information regarding rules and requirements is regularly published on the university’s official website. Applicants can conveniently access all necessary information through online platforms.
The university has a clear policy on student transfer from other higher education institutions, recognition of foreign credits, and acknowledgment of previously achieved learning outcomes. This policy is based on international best practices and current regulatory documents of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Internal (within the country) and international (from foreign institutions) student transfer processes are carried out with the approval of the Ministry. In this process, the number of credits and the content of completed courses are compared based on the ECTS credit system.
For students who have studied abroad, an individual assessment is conducted based on diplomas, transcripts, and other relevant documents. This assessment allows for the evaluation and recognition of the equivalence of learning outcomes. The academic recognition process is reviewed and decided upon by the relevant department and faculty academic and methodological councils.
This approach promotes academic mobility, creates a flexible learning environment for students, and supports the recognition of international educational experience.
Upon successful completion of the prescribed curriculum, students are awarded official graduation documents. The certification process is standardized and implemented uniformly across all faculties and academic programs.
Graduates are issued the following documents:
State-recognized diploma – the main official document certifying the completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree;
Academic transcript – an official record listing all courses completed, grades obtained, and credits earned during the study period.
These documents enable graduates to certify their qualifications both nationally and internationally.
Admission, recognition, and educational processes at the university are based on the principles of transparency, fairness, and inclusiveness. All procedures are carried out with equal openness for all applicants and students, regardless of gender, nationality, disability, or social background.
Special quotas are allocated for students with disabilities, and adapted conditions are created to meet their specific needs. This approach ensures the full realization of their right to education.
In addition, the university has complaint and appeal mechanisms that are legally guaranteed and allow students to freely express their opinions and objections. These mechanisms are implemented in accordance with clearly defined procedures set out in the university’s internal regulatory documents.
