Activities of the Scientific and Technical Council

• The university has a scientific and technical council. The main purpose of the Council is to develop the basic principles of formation of scientific, scientific-technical and innovation policy at the university and mechanisms for their implementation in practice. Functions:

• Ensuring the participation of university professors in the selection of fundamental and applied research, research projects, coordination of work on the examination of projects;

• Establish mechanisms to use the scientific potential of the relevant ministries and departments of the Academy of Sciences to expand the scope of research and scientific and pedagogical training at the university;

• Participate in the development of legislative and regulatory framework aimed at strengthening the influence of science in improving the system of higher and secondary special, vocational education in the country.

• Development and management of proposals for improving research activities and training of scientific and pedagogical staff:

• Ensuring the effectiveness of research activities carried out at the university, as well as the development of methodological and regulatory framework for the introduction of the results in the education system and production;

• evaluation of the effectiveness of the management system of scientific, scientific-technical and innovation activities and preparation of proposals for improvement;

• formation of methodological and normative bases aimed at increasing the effectiveness of training of scientific and scientific-pedagogical staff at the university;

• Organize competitions for basic doctoral and doctoral students' important projects and take measures to implement support;

• Effective organization of student research at the university, discussion of issues and making appropriate decisions;

• preparation of proposals for international, national and ministerial scientific conferences;

• Hearing, discussing and making relevant reports on the research activities of the university, if necessary, etc
