A high-level meeting was held at the Chamber of Accounts of the Republic of Uzbekistan with a delegation from Nanjing Audit University led by its Rector, Dong Birong. Among the participants was the Rector of Bukhara State University, Professor Obidjon Khamidov.
The discussions focused on the development of audit education, scientific research, digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and international academic cooperation. Participants emphasized that the modern auditing profession is undergoing a profound transformation through the integration of Big Data, artificial intelligence, and digital governance technologies, opening new opportunities for innovation and professional development.
During the meeting, it was noted that the recently signed cooperation agreement between Nanjing Audit University and Bukhara State University provides a strong institutional and legal framework for expanding bilateral relations and fostering long-term academic collaboration.
The parties exchanged views on student and faculty exchange programs, joint research initiatives, academic mobility projects, and the preparation of highly qualified specialists in the fields of auditing, economics, and digital governance.
Rector Dong Birong expressed his readiness to launch joint educational programs with Bukhara State University under the “3+1” and “4+0” models, expand scientific cooperation, and implement new collaborative projects of mutual interest.
The meeting marked another important step in broadening Bukhara State University’s international partnership network, strengthening strategic ties with one of China’s leading higher education institutions, and advancing the university’s efforts to train globally competitive professionals in accordance with international standards.
