On March 26, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation A. Juraev welcomed representatives of the Embassy of Turkey in Uzbekistan, who visited our university - Culture and Tourism Counselor Alparslan Akinci, and the specialist for internal affairs Mustafa Avci,.

The meeting was attended by the head of the department of international cooperation M. Kilichev, the dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​M. Juraeva, heads of departments Z. Rasulov, O. Faizullayev, associate professors M. Akhmedova, F. Khadjieva, L. Jalilova, M. Rakhmatova and others.

The meeting discussed the creation of a Turkish Language and Culture Center at the university, organization of Turkish language courses, cooperation with Turkish universities.

The parties agreed to take on the agenda the consideration of opportunities for holding a large-scale congress dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the assistance of the Bukhara Republic to the Ankara government, within the framework of events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the 30th anniversary of the recognition of our independence by the Republic of Turkey.

At the end of the visit, Vice-Rector A. Juraev showed the guests the reconstructed building of the Information Resource Center and acquainted them with the planned works. It was also noted that the building of the IRC can be used for the implementation of the projects of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA).
