On October 19, a solemn event was held in Yekaterinburg dedicated to the 100th anniversary of one of the most important partners of our university - the Ural Federal University.
Currently occupying the prestigious 331st place in the QS-2021 ranking, Ural Federal University is one of the leading higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation. During the visit of the UrFU delegation to Bukhara State University in November 2019, the priority areas of our relationship were discussed and a cooperation agreement was signed.
At a gala event dedicated to 100th anniversary of UrFU, Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Yekaterinburg Abdusalom Khatamov spoke on behalf of the consular services of the city of Yekaterinburg and congratulated the staff of the university. A. Khatamov presented the addressee with warm congratulations to the rector of the Ural Federal University V. Koksharov on behalf of the Rector of Bukhara State University O. Khamidov and the staff of our university, as well as a memorable gift depicting the historical center of Bukhara - Poi Kalon, which is recognized as one of the wonders of the SCO member states. V. Koksharov was also invited to an international conference, which will be dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Bukhara State University.
